Meghan Markle gets the giggles as Harry is attacked by a bee during first public appearance since stunning wedding

+

Meghan Markle was in fits of giggles this afternoon as her new husband, Prince Harry, was attacked by the bee as he gave a speech at their first official public appearance since marrying at the weekend.

The new Duke and Duchess of Sussex may still be buzzing after Saturday's ceremony, but the unexpected visitor threatened to steal the show when Harry fluffed his lines.

Meghan was pictured smiling with the Duchess of Cornwall during the garden party being held to celebrate Prince Charles turning 70 later this year.

Harry had been making a moving tribute to his dad’s hard work when the bee caused chaos, forcing the prince to admit: “That bee really got me."

He was part way through a speech in Buckingham Palace’s garden in front of around 6,500 invited guests.
